DTF prints can be used on any fabric (cotton, polyester, nylon, spandex .....) as long as care is taken when pressing to avoid scorching the apparel.
DTF (Direct-to-Fabric) printing is a relatively new printing method that allows for full-colour printing directly onto garments. It creates high-quality, vibrant prints that are long-lasting, but proper care is essential to maintain the quality and longevity of the prints. Here are some tips on how to wash and care for DTF printed apparel:
  1. Always follow the care instructions on the label of your garment. Different fabrics have different care requirements, so make sure to read the label carefully.
  2. Wash your DTF printed apparel in cold water. Hot water can cause the colours to fade. Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.
  3. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener. Bleach can damage the fibers and cause discolouration, while fabric softener can leave a residue that affects the print quality.
  4. Turn your garment inside out before washing. This can help protect the print from rubbing against other clothes in the wash.
  5. Hang dry your DTF printed apparel. Avoid using a dryer, as the heat can cause the print to crack or fade. If you need to use a dryer, use a low heat setting.
  6. Avoid ironing directly over the print. Instead, iron the garment inside out or use a pressing cloth to protect the print.
By following these simple care instructions, you can help ensure that your DTF printed apparel stays vibrant and lasts a long time.
